For each comparison, means followed by the same letter are not significantly different (Bonferroni t-tests, P=0.05). See Table 1 for key to populations." |

P.2526 left column 3rd paragraph: "Adult fly dry mass varied as a function of population and temperature, but the interaction effects were insignificant (Table 2). Flies were significantly larger at 18˚C than when raised at higher temperatures (Table 4)." The variation in the mass of Drosophila is primarily due to temperature. |
